I believe that emerging markets - and especially those on the African continent - are the next frontier for businesses, offering endless untapped opportunities.
But doing business in Africa needs a different approach - it is a unique market that is neither developed or undeveloped. It needs an approach that is innovative, and which looks to create new solutions. Technology - from - data to connectivity and more - has become the enabler, and with this, comes the ability for disruptive thinking.
By looking at developed markets, and with an understanding of local needs, we can adopt and adapt practices and knowledge to innovate and develop new ways of doing things.
My experience in building businesses here, and my understanding of the landscape, means that I work well with commercially viable businesses, to develop their ways of working to grow and push the limits of what they do.
